Scan your library
Point MediaScout at your Movies and TV Shows folders and it scans the folder tree for video files, grouping them into movies, TV shows, seasons, and episodes.
Rich metadata lookup
Titles, overviews, cast/crew, genres, ratings, and air dates are looked up from TheMovieDB (TMDB) and TheTVDB.
Artwork included
Posters, backdrops, banners, and actor photos are downloaded alongside each title.
Works with your media center
Metadata is written to disk as .nfo/.xml sidecar files so Kodi, Plex, Emby, Jellyfin, and My Movies can display it without their own internet lookups.
